Alphabet, Amazon, AT&T and Other Key Earnings Coming This Week

The first week of earnings season was somewhat underwhelming as a whole. While some companies had amazing wins, quite a few fell short as well. 24/7 Wall St. has put together a preview of some of the top companies reporting their latest results in the coming week. Keep in mind that a vast majority of companies are set to report their earnings in the next few weeks and set a direction for the market.

We have included the consensus earnings estimates from Thomson Reuters and the stock price and trading history, as well as added some additional color on each.

3M Co.’s (NYSE: MMM) latest quarterly earnings report is expected on Tuesday. The consensus estimates are $2.06 in earnings per share (EPS) and $7.47 billion in revenue. Shares were trading most recently at $191.50, in a 52-week range of $163.17 to $193.50. The consensus price target is $190.50.

AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) first-quarter results are scheduled for Tuesday. The consensus earnings estimate is $0.74 per share, on $40.57 billion in revenue. The shares were last seen at $39.93. The consensus price target is $42.80, and the 52-week trading range is $36.10 to $43.89.

Texas Instruments Inc. (NASDAQ: TXN) is set to release its most recent quarterly results Tuesday as well. The consensus estimates call for $0.83 in EPS and $3.3 billion in revenue. Shares ended the week at $79.81. The consensus price target is $82.11, and the 52-week range is $56.19 to $82.44.

Amgen Inc. (NASDAQ: AMGN) is expected to report its most recent quarterly results on Wednesday. The consensus estimates call for $3.00 in EPS and $5.61 billion in revenue. Shares closed trading at $160.41 on Friday, in a 52-week range of $133.64 to $184.21. The consensus price target is $185.13.

Twitter Inc. (NYSE: TWTR) first-quarter results are scheduled for Wednesday. The consensus forecast is $0.01 in EPS on $511.91 million in revenue. Shares were last seen at $14.63. The consensus price target is $14.05. The 52-week trading range is $13.73 to $25.25.

Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOGL) will share its latest quarterly earnings on Thursday. The consensus estimates are $7.40 in EPS and $24.19 billion in revenue. Shares were trading most recently at $843.19, in a 52-week range of $663.28 to $853.50. The consensus price target is $951.78.

Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) first-quarter results are scheduled for Thursday. The consensus earnings estimate is $1.13 per share, on $35.31 billion in revenue. The shares were last seen at $898.53. The consensus price target is $975.69, and the 52-week trading range is $599.20 to $923.72.

Ford Motor Co. (NYSE: F) is set to release its most recent quarterly results Thursday. The consensus estimates call for $0.36 in EPS, as well as $34.7 billion in revenue. Shares ended the week at $11.34. The consensus price target is $13.18, and the 52-week range is $11.07 to $14.22.

Starbucks Corp. (NASDAQ: SBUX) is expected to report its most recent quarterly results on Thursday as well. The consensus estimates call for $0.45 in EPS and $5.41 billion in revenue. Shares closed trading at $60.61 on Friday, in a 52-week range of $50.84 to $60.69. The consensus price target is $64.23.

General Motors Co. (NYSE: GM) first-quarter results are scheduled for Friday. The consensus forecast is $1.46 in EPS on $40.32 billion in revenue. Shares were last seen at $33.75. The consensus price target is $40.05. The 52-week trading range is $27.34 to $38.55.
