Marathon Oil Corp. (NYSE: MRO) dropped about 1.7% Tuesday to post a new 52-week low of $11.33 after closing Monday at $11.53. The 52-week high is $19.28. Volume was nearly 50% higher than the daily average of about 13.7 million shares. The company had no specific news.
Alder Biopharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: ALDR) posted a new 52-week low of $13.50on Tuesday, down nearly 28% compared with Monday’s closing price of $18.70. The stock’s 52-week high is $36.48. Volume totaled more than 12 million shares, about 12 times the daily average of around 720,000. Volume was around 5 million, about 50% below the daily average of around 7.5 million shares. The stock’s 52-week high is $87.84. The country’s largest oilfield services company had no specific news.
