Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Kroger and More Earnings to Watch for This Week

24/7 Wall St. has put together a preview of a few major companies scheduled to report their quarterly results this holiday-shortened week. Not surprisingly, things will be quiet on the earnings front, but there are still a few results worth keeping an eye on, with the markets near all-time highs and the bull run quite long in the tooth.

We have included the consensus earnings estimates from Thomson Reuters, as well as the stock price and trading history.

Be advised that the earnings and revenue estimates may change ahead of the formal reports, and some companies change earnings dates as well.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. (NYSE: HPE) will share its latest quarterly earnings late on Tuesday. The consensus estimates are $0.26 in earnings per share (EPS) and $7.49 billion in revenue. Shares were trading most recently at $14.31, after a late-week plunge. The 52-week trading range is $13.82 to $19.16, and the consensus price target was last seen at $19.35.

HD Supply Holdings Inc.’s (NASDAQ: HDS) latest quarterly earnings report is expected before Wednesday’s open. The consensus estimates call for a profit of $0.64 in per share and $1.35 billion in revenue. Shares closed trading most recently at $33.02, in a 52-week range of $28.97 to $44.73. The consensus price target is $39.00.

RH (NYSE: RH), formerly known as Restoration Hardware, has fiscal second-quarter results scheduled for later on Wednesday. The consensus earnings estimate is $0.47 per share, on $606.34 million in revenue. The shares closed the week at $48.51. The consensus price target is $58.07, and the 52-week trading range is $24.41 to $79.91.

Look for Barnes & Noble Inc.’s (NYSE: BKS) fiscal first-quarter results first thing Thursday morning. Analysts on average expect to see a $0.12 per share net loss, on $871.75 million in revenue. The shares were last seen trading at $7.50. The consensus price target is $10.67, while share have traded between $6.25 and $13.20 in the past year.

Hovnanian Enterprises Inc. (NYSE: HOV) will report its most recent quarterly results early Thursday as well. The consensus estimates for this homebuilder call for a net loss of a penny per share and $582.9 million in revenue. Shares closed at $1.88 on Friday, in a 52-week range of $1.52 to $2.98. The consensus price target is just $1.52.

And Kroger Co. (NYSE: KR) is expected to release its most recent quarterly results before regular trading starts on Friday. The consensus forecast calls for $0.39 in EPS and revenue of $27.48 billion. The stock ended last week at $22.42 a share. The consensus price target is $26.09, and the 52-week range is $20.46 to $36.44.
