Volume was about 15% below the daily average of around 46 million shares. Ensco plc (NYSE: ESV) dropped about 7.9% Friday to post a new 52-week low of $4.10. Shares closed at $4.45 on Thursday and the stock’s 52-week high is $10.15. Volume was around 22.5 million, nearly double the daily average. The company had no specific news.

Opko Health Inc. (NASDAQ: OPK) traded down more than 16% Friday and posted a new 52-week low of $2.66 after closing Thursday at $3.18. The stock’s 52-week high is $8.54. Volume was around 13.5 million, about three times the daily average of around 4.4 million. The biotech firm posted a loss last night and missed revenue estimates in the bargain.
