Ford Motor Co. (NYSE: F) traded down about 1.5% Friday and posted a new 52-week low of $10.14 after closing Thursday at $10.29. The stock’s 52-week high is $13.48. Volume was about 15% below the daily average of around 46 million shares. The company had no specific news Friday and the stock reversed direction around noon and is headed for small gain just ahead of the closing bell.
Ensco plc (NYSE: ESV) dropped about 7.9% Friday to post a new 52-week low of $4.10. Shares closed at $4.45 on Thursday and the stock’s 52-week high is $10.15. Volume was around 22.5 million, nearly double the daily average. The company had no specific news.
Weatherford International plc (NYSE: WFT) fell about 5.5% Friday to post a new 52-week low of $2.42 after closing at $2.56 on Thursday. The 52-week high is $7.09. Volume of more than 16 million was about 30% below the daily average. The company had no specific news Friday.
Opko Health Inc. (NASDAQ: OPK) traded down more than 16% Friday and posted a new 52-week low of $2.66 after closing Thursday at $3.18. The stock’s 52-week high is $8.54. Volume was around 13.5 million, about three times the daily average of around 4.4 million. The biotech firm posted a loss last night and missed revenue estimates in the bargain.
