Franklin Resources Inc. (NYSE: BEN) traded down about 2% Wednesday to post a new 52-week low of $32.41 after closing Tuesday at $33.09. The stock’s 52-week high is $47.65. Volume was about equal to the daily average of around 3.6 million shares. The company had no specific news Wednesday.

Dominion Energy Inc. (NYSE: D) traded down about 1.1% Wednesday and posted a new 52-week low of $64.76 after closing Tuesday at $65.50. The stock’s 52-week high is $85.30. Volume totaled around 3.3 million, about a third lower than the daily average. The company had no specific news.

vTv Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ: VTVT) dropped about 8.5% Wednesday to post a new 52-week low of $0.65. Shares closed at $0.71 on Tuesday and the stock’s 52-week high is $8.40. Volume was about 7 times the daily average of around 340,000 shares. The company’s Alzheimer drug failed Tuesday to meet the goals of a phase 3 study and the sell-off continues.

Tupperware Brands Corp. (NYSE: TUP) fell by about 2.3% Wednesday to post a new 52-week low of $40.80 after closing at $41.74 on Tuesday. The 52-week high is $74.36. Volume of about 1.2 million was around a third higher than the daily average. The company lowered its first-quarter guidance Tuesday morning and the exits are still a little crowded.
