Facebook, Amazon, Alphabet and More Top Earnings to Watch For This Week

The U.S. broad markets pushed forward this past week, marking the second consecutive week with a gain. Not to say that this has been entirely the result of earnings, but it’s been a big help, along with a strong push in crude oil as well. If we continue to see solid fundamentals from company earnings, markets should continue to rise. This is perhaps one of the busiest weeks for earnings of the year with a lot of big names coming quick.

24/7 Wall St. has put together a preview of some of the top companies reporting their latest results in the coming week. We have included the consensus earnings estimates from Thomson Reuters, as well as the stock price and trading history for these companies ahead of the report.

Be advised that the earnings and revenue estimates may change ahead of the formal reports, and some companies may change reporting dates as well.

Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOGL) is set to report its most recent quarterly results on Monday. Analysts are calling for $9.35 in earnings per share (EPS) and $30.36 billion in revenue. Shares closed the week at $1,072.96, with a consensus price target of $1,327.00 and a 52-week trading range of $840.60 to $1,186.89.

Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (NASDAQ: AMD) is expected to report its first-quarter results on Wednesday. The analysts’ consensus forecast is EPS of $0.09 on $1.57 billion in revenue. Shares were changing hands at $9.99 as last week came to a close. The consensus price target is $13.84, and the stock has a 52-week range of $9.04 to $15.65.

AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) will share its latest quarterly earnings on Wednesday. The consensus estimates call for $0.88 in EPS and $39.29 billion in revenue. Shares ended last week at $34.67, in a 52-week range of $32.55 to $40.56. The consensus analyst target is $40.39.

Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc. (NYSE: CMG) is set to release its most recent quarterly results on Wednesday. The consensus forecast calls for $1.58 in EPS and $1.15 billion in revenue. Shares traded on Friday’s close at $331.95. The consensus price target is $311.68, and the 52-week range is $247.52 to $499.00.

Facebook Inc. (NASDAQ: FB) will report its most recent quarterly results on Wednesday. The consensus estimates call for $1.36 in EPS and $11.41 billion in revenue. Shares were last seen trading at $166.28, in a 52-week range of $142.27 to $195.32. The consensus price target is $218.22.

Ford Motor Co.’s (NYSE: F) first-quarter report is scheduled for Wednesday. The consensus forecast is $0.41 in EPS on $37.06 billion in revenue. Shares closed at $10.82 apiece. The consensus price target is $12.39, and the 52-week range is $10.14 to $13.48.

Twitter Inc. (NYSE: TWTR) is expected to release its most recent quarterly report early Wednesday. The consensus forecast calls for $0.11 in EPS on $605.26 million in revenue. Shares closed at $31.91 on Friday. The consensus target price is $27.52, and shares have changed hands between $14.41 and $36.80 in the past year.

Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) is poised to post its most recent quarterly results Thursday. The consensus forecast is $1.26 in EPS and $49.88 billion in revenue. Shares closed at $1,527.49 apiece. The consensus price target is $1,674.07, and the 52-week range is $896.77 to $1,617.54.

American Airlines Group Inc.’s (NASDAQ: AAL) most recent quarterly release is anticipated late on Thursday. The consensus forecast calls for $0.72 in EPS on $10.42 billion in revenue. Shares ended the week at $46.78. The consensus target price is $63.61, and the 52-week range is $42.01 to $59.08.

Look for General Motors Co. (NYSE: GM) first-quarter report on Thursday as well. The consensus forecast is $1.28 in EPS on $34.6 billion in revenue. Shares closed at $37.61. The consensus price target is $47.96, and shares have traded between $31.92 and $46.76 in the past 52 weeks.

Southwest Airlines Co.’s (NYSE: LUV) most recent quarterly release is anticipated early on Thursday. The consensus forecast calls for $0.74 in EPS on $5.01 billion in revenue. Shares ended the week at $54.77. The consensus target price is $71.68, and the 52-week range is $49.76 to $66.99.

And Starbucks Corp. (NASDAQ: SBUX) is expected to release its most recent quarterly report late Thursday. The consensus forecast calls for $0.53 in EPS on $5.92 billion in revenue.
