Disney, Groupon, Nvidia and More Major Earnings Coming This Week

The U.S. broad markets rallied on Friday to close roughly even, although slightly lower, making this second consecutive week with a loss (excluding the Nasdaq). These past two weeks have been some of the busiest this earnings season, but it hasn’t been enough to offset the overall market sentiment. Keep in mind that even though the markets have pulled back, there were still some big earnings winners such as Apple or Amazon.
24/7 Wall St. has put together a preview of some of the top companies reporting their latest results in the coming week. We have included the consensus earnings estimates from Thomson Reuters, as well as the stock price and trading history for these companies ahead of the report.
Be advised that the earnings and revenue estimates may change ahead of the formal reports, and some companies may change reporting dates as well.
Walt Disney Co. (NYSE: DIS) is set to report its most recent quarterly results on Tuesday. Analysts are calling for $1.69 in earnings per share (EPS) and $14.08 billion in revenue. Shares closed the week at $101.12, with a consensus price target of $119.90 and a 52-week trading range of $96.20 to $113.19.
Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: EA) is expected to report its fiscal fourth-quarter results on Tuesday. The analysts’ consensus forecast is EPS of $1.17 on $1.24 billion in revenue. Shares were changing hands at $126.64 as last week came to a close. The consensus price target is $138.00, and the stock has a 52-week range of $94.59 to $131.13.
Fossil Group Inc. (NASDAQ: FOSL) will share its latest quarterly earnings on Tuesday. The consensus estimates call for a net loss of $0.82 per share and $538.49 million in revenue. Shares ended last week at $14.51, in a 52-week range of $5.50 to $18.44. The consensus analyst target is $13.00.
Match Group Inc. (NASDAQ: MTCH) is set to release its most recent quarterly results on Tuesday. The consensus forecast calls for $0.23 in EPS and $384.98 million in revenue. Shares traded on Friday’s close at $34.82. The consensus price target is $42.56, and the 52-week range is $16.57 to $48.65.
Valeant Pharmaceuticals International Inc. (NYSE: VRX) will report its most recent quarterly results on Tuesday as well. The consensus estimates call for $0.60 in EPS and $1.95 billion in revenue. Shares were last seen trading at $18.01, in a 52-week range of $9.70 to $24.43. The consensus price target is $17.03.
Groupon Inc.’s (NASDAQ: GRPN) first-quarter report is scheduled for Wednesday. The consensus forecast is for breakeven earnings on $603.79 million in revenue. Shares closed at $4.71 apiece. The consensus price target is $5.32, and the 52-week range is $2.90 to $5.99.
Look for Mylan N.V. (NASDAQ: MYL) to release its most recent quarterly report early Wednesday. The consensus forecast calls for $0.97 in EPS on $2.75 billion in revenue. Shares closed at $35.98 on Friday. The consensus target price is $49.86, and shares have changed hands between $29.39 and $47.82 in the past year.
Office Depot Inc. (NASDAQ: ODP) also is poised to post its most recent quarterly results Wednesday. The consensus forecast is $0.08 in EPS and $2.72 billion in revenue. Shares closed at $2.32 apiece. The consensus price target is $3.10, and the 52-week range is $2.00 to $6.26.
Roku Inc.’s (NASDAQ: ROKU) most recent quarterly release is anticipated late on Wednesday. The consensus forecast calls for a net loss of $0.15 per share on $127.15 million in revenue. Shares ended the week at $31.55. The consensus target price is $36.57, and the 52-week range is $15.75 to $58.80.
Watch for Duke Energy Corp.’s (NYSE: DUK) first-quarter report on Thursday. The consensus forecast is $1.14 in EPS on $5.81 billion in revenue. Shares closed at $79.89. The consensus price target is $82.20, and shares have traded between $72.93 and $91.80 in the past 52 weeks.
Nvidia Corp.’s (NASDAQ: NVDA) most recent quarterly release is due late on Thursday. The consensus forecast calls for $1.45 in EPS on $2.89 billion in revenue. Shares ended the week at $239.06. The consensus target price is $249.58, and the 52-week range is $102.31 to $254.50.
And Yelp Inc. (NYSE: YELP) is expected to release its most recent quarterly report late Thursday as well. The consensus forecast calls for a net loss of $0.04 per share on $220.14 million in revenue. Shares closed at $45.60 on Friday. The consensus target price is $47.30, and shares have changed hands between $26.93 and $48.40 in the past year.
