June 19, 2018: Here are four stocks trading with heavy volume among 85 equities making new 52-week lows in Tuesday’s session. On the NYSE decliners led advancers by about 1.47 to 1 and on the Nasdaq, advancers led decliners by about 1.2 to 1.
Lloyd Banking Group plc (NYSE: LYG) traded down about 1.5% Tuesday to post a new 52-week low of $3.23 after closing Monday at $3.28. The stock’s 52-week high is $4.21. Volume was about equal to the daily average of around 4.2 million shares. In internal report published Tuesday alleges the bank misled investors over fraud charges at one of its units.
H&R Block Inc. (NYSE: HRB) traded down about 1.2% Tuesday and posted a new 52-week low of $23.28 after closing Monday at $23.55. The stock’s 52-week high is $31.80. Volume totaled about 3.1 million, about a third higher than the daily average of around 3.2 million. The company had no specific news. Shares have turned around and are headed for a gain of about 1.4% at the closing bell.
CNH Industrial NV (NYSE: CNHI) dropped about 3.5% Tuesday to post a new 52-week low of $10.87. Shares closed at $11.27 on Monday and the stock’s 52-week high is $15.65. Volume was more than double the daily average of around 1.76 million. The company had no specific news.
Vodafone Group plc (NASDAQ: VOD) fell about 0.9% Tuesday to post a new 52-week low of $24.26. Shares closed at $24.49 on Monday. The 52-week high is $32.75. Volume of around 3.1 million was around 20% lower than the daily average of about 3.7 million. The company had no specific news and shares or on track for a near flat close.
