Ambev, Renren Slide into Friday's 52-Week Low Club

June 22, 2018: Here are four stocks trading with heavy volume among 67 equities making new 52-week lows in Friday’s session. On the NYSE advancers led decliners by about 2.11 to 1 and on the Nasdaq, advancers led decliners by about 1.16 to 1.

Renren Inc. (NYSE: RENN) paid a $9.1875 dividend to ADS holders on Thursday and issued new shares Friday morning at $1.85 a share. The stock traded at a low of $1.66 Friday and a high of $3.19. Shares are on track to close up more than 100% on volume of nearly 60 million shares traded.

Ambev SA (NYSE: ABEV) traded down about 0.6% Friday and posted a new 52-week low of $4.79 after closing Thursday at $4.82. The stock’s 52-week high is $7.43. Volume totaled about 18.4 million, approaching 20% below the daily average of around 25.7 million. The company had no specific news.

Celldex Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ: CLDX) fell about 8.9% Friday to post a new 52-week low of $0.51. Shares closed at $0.56 on Thursday. The 52-week high is $3.26. Volume of around 5 million was about 30% higher than the daily average. The company had no specific news.

Yatra Online Inc. (NASDAQ: YTRA) dropped about 13.2% Friday to post a new 52-week low of $5.51. Shares closed at $6.35 on Thursday and the stock’s 52-week high is $12.85. Volume was about 17 times the daily average of around 210,000. The India-based online travel company priced a secondary offering at $5.50 this morning.
