August 6, 2018: Here are four stocks trading with heavy volume among 96 equities making new 52-week lows in Monday’s session. On the NYSE advancers led decliners by about 1.44 to 1 and on the Nasdaq, advancers led decliners by about 1.56 to 1.
Mannkind Corp. (NASDAQ: MNKD) traded down about 14.8% Monday to set a new 52-week low of $0.98. Shares closed at $1.15 on Friday, and the 52-week high is $6.96. Volume was more than double the daily average of around 2.2 million. The struggling biopharma firm reported weak earnings Thursday night and is still suffering the effects.
Tesaro Inc. (NASDAQ: TSRO) traded down about 5% Monday to post a new 52-week low of $25.62 after closing Friday at $26.97. The stock’s 52-week high is $136.45. Volume was about double the daily average of about 2.1 million shares. The company reported weaker-than-expected results last week.
ACADIA Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: ACAD) traded down about 10.6% Monday and posted a new 52-week low of $13.60 after closing Friday at $15.22. The stock’s 52-week high is $41.20. Volume totaled around 4.4 million, about 70% above the daily average.
Diebold Nixdorf Inc. (NYSE: DBD) dropped about 10.7% Monday to set a new 52-week low of $6.25. Shares closed at $7.00 on Friday and the stock’s 52-week high is $23.50. Volume was more than double the daily average of around 1.8 million.
