Walmart, Nvidia, Cisco and More Major Earnings Coming This Week

The second-quarter earnings reporting season is winding down, but there are still plenty of companies reporting, including three major Dow Jones industrials stocks. We already have seen strong earnings from many companies pushing all three of the major averages higher since the start of this season. If the markets want to keep up their momentum, companies will have to keep hitting their targets.

24/7 Wall St. has put together a preview of some companies that are about to report their quarterly results. We have reviewed the consensus earnings estimates from Thomson Reuters, the stock price and the trading history.

Be advised that the earnings and revenue estimates may change ahead of the formal reports, and some companies may change earnings dates as well.

Switch Inc. (NYSE: SWCH) will share its latest quarterly results on Monday. The consensus estimates call for $0.04 in earnings per share (EPS) and $102.76 million in revenue. Shares ended last week trading at $14.07, in a 52-week range of $11.85 to $24.90. The consensus analyst target is $16.82.

Advance Auto Parts Inc. (NYSE: AAP) is scheduled to share its quarterly report early on Tuesday. The consensus estimates are $1.85 in EPS on revenue of $2.27 billion. Shares were last seen trading at $146.35. The stock has a 52-week range of $78.81 to $148.70, and the consensus price target is $135.13.

Look for Home Depot Inc. (NYSE: HD) to report its most recent quarterly results on Tuesday too. Analysts expect $2.84 in EPS and $30.01 billion in revenue. The shares were changing hands at $196.30 on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $212.55. The 52-week range is $146.89 to $207.61.

Cisco Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: CSCO) is expected to report its most recent quarterly results after regular trading ends on Wednesday. The consensus estimates are $0.68 in EPS and revenue of $12.77 billion. Shares of Cisco were trading at $43.78 on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $49.56, and the 52-week range is $30.36 to $46.37.

Nordstrom Inc.’s (NYSE: JWN) fiscal second-quarter report is scheduled for Thursday after the markets close. The consensus forecast is $0.84 in EPS on $3.96 billion in revenue. Shares ended the week trading at $52.58 apiece. The consensus price target is $52.88, and the 52-week range is $37.79 to $54.61.

Nvidia Corp. (NASDAQ: NVDA) will report its most recent quarterly results Thursday afternoon. The consensus estimates call for EPS of $1.66 and $3.11 billion in revenue for the second quarter. Shares were last seen trading at $254.79, in a 52-week range of $152.91 to $269.20. The consensus price target is $281.09.

Walmart Inc.’s (NYSE: WMT) second-quarter report is scheduled for Thursday before the opening bell. The consensus forecast is $1.22 in EPS on $126.04 billion in revenue. Shares ended the week trading at $90.18 apiece. The consensus price target is $94.44, and the 52-week range is $77.50 to $109.98.

Deere & Co. (NYSE: DE) is expected to release its most recent quarterly results early on Friday. The consensus forecast sees a $2.74 in EPS and $9.21 billion in revenue. Shares traded on Friday’s close at $137.05, in a 52-week range of $112.87 to $175.26. The consensus price target is $180.76.
