August 24, 2018: The S&P 500 closed up 0.6% at 2,874.78. The DJIA closed up 0.5% at 25,790.91. Separately, the Nasdaq was up 0.9% at 7,945.98.

Friday was a positive day for the broad U.S. markets, with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq hitting new all-time highs. Crude oil posted another gain in the session.
