JD.com Inc. (NASDAQ: JD) traded down about 11.7% Wednesday to post a new 52-week low of $26.00 after closing Tuesday at $29.43. The stock’s 52-week high is $50.68. Volume exceeded four times the daily average of around 15.9 million shares. The company’s CEO was arrested and released over the weekend on what has been reported as a rape allegation.
Ford Motor Co. (NYSE: F) dropped about 1.6% Wednesday to set a new 52-week low of $9.32. Shares closed at $9.47 on Tuesday and the stock’s 52-week high is $13.48. Volume totaled around 34 million, about 10% below the daily average. The company had no specific news and shares have reversed course and are currently on track to close with a daily gain of about 0.5%. The company sold more than 81,000 F-Series pickups last month according to the monthly sales report.
Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. (NYSE: BABA) traded down about 4.3% Wednesday to set a new 52-week low of $163.06 after closing at $170.44 on Tuesday. The stock’s 52-week high is $211.70. Volume was about 25% higher than the daily average of around 20.6 million. The company had no specific news.
Snap Inc. (NYSE: SNAP) traded down about 5% Wednesday and posted a new 52-week low of $10.06 after closing Tuesday at $10.59. The stock’s 52-week high is $21.22. Volume was about equal to the daily average of around 21.1 million. The company launched a new version of its Spectacles camera glasses this morning.
