Oracle, Micron, FedEx and More Major Earnings Coming This Week

The S&P 500 and Nasdaq closed out this past week close to all-time highs, with optimism that the United States and China would start fresh trade talks. While international markets are in the forefront for now, there are still a few U.S. companies reporting earnings this week that can help push markets higher.

24/7 Wall St. has put together a preview of some companies that are about to report their quarterly results. We have reviewed the consensus earnings estimates from Thomson Reuters, the stock price and the trading history.

Be advised that the earnings and revenue estimates may change ahead of the formal reports, and some companies may change earnings dates as well.

FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) will share its latest quarterly results late Monday. The consensus estimates call for a $3.82 in earnings per share (EPS) and $16.88 billion in revenue. Shares ended last week’s trading at $255.44, in a 52-week range of $211.74 to $274.66. The consensus analyst target is $286.24.

Oracle Corp. (NYSE: ORCL) has its fiscal first-quarter report is scheduled for Monday as well. The consensus forecast is $0.69 in EPS on $9.31 billion in revenue. The retailer’s shares ended the week at $49.25 apiece. The consensus price target is $54.04, and the 52-week range is $42.57 to $53.48.

AutoZone Inc. (NYSE: AZO) is scheduled to share its quarterly report early on Tuesday. The consensus forecast is $17.85 in EPS on revenue of $3.59 billion. Shares were last seen trading at $749.20. The stock has a 52-week range of $533.00 to $797.89, and the consensus price target is $764.06.

Look for Red Hat Inc. (NYSE: RHT) to report its most recent quarterly results on Wednesday. Analysts expect $0.82 in EPS and $829.33 million in revenue. The shares were changing hands at $148.86 on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $164.67. The 52-week range is $104.51 to $177.70.

Darden Restaurants Inc. (NYSE: DRI) is expected to post its most recent quarterly results on Thursday. The consensus estimates are $1.23 in EPS and revenue of $2.03 billion. Shares of Darden were trading at $119.05 on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $115.40, and the 52-week range is $77.55 to $120.93.

Micron Technology Inc.’s (NASDAQ: MU) fiscal fourth-quarter report is expected late Thursday. The consensus forecast is $3.33 in EPS on $8.25 billion in revenue. Shares ended the week trading at $44.30 apiece. The consensus price target is $83.60, and the 52-week range is $34.09 to $64.66.

And United Natural Foods Inc. (NASDAQ: UNFI) fiscal second-quarter report is scheduled for Thursday. The consensus forecast is $0.85 in EPS on $2.61 billion in revenue. Shares ended the week trading at $33.53 apiece. The consensus price target is $45.07, and the 52-week range is $31.84 to $52.69.
