Amazon, Google, Twitter and More Major Earnings Coming This Week

The broad markets saw a handy recovery this past week after suffering a 4% drop the week before. While this drop was heavily influenced by a strengthening bond market, the third-quarter earnings season is ramping up, and if all goes well the markets could be on their way back up. 24/7 Wall St. has put together a preview of some of the major companies posting their quarterly results this week.

We have entered into earnings season, during which most major companies will report and set a direction for the market. We have included the consensus earnings estimates from Thomson Reuters and the stock price and trading history.
Be advised that the earnings and revenue estimates may change ahead of the formal reports, and some companies may change reporting dates as well.
Haliburton Co. (NYSE: HAL) is set to report its third-quarter results early on Monday. Overall, analysts expect to see $0.49 in earnings per share (EPS), as well as $6.13 billion in revenue. Shares traded at $37.54 on Friday’s close. The consensus analyst price target is $51.36. The stock has a 52-week trading range of $35.75 to $57.86.
Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (NASDAQ: AMD) is expected to report its most recent quarter results Wednesday afternoon. The consensus analyst estimates call for $0.12 in EPS and revenue of $1.7 billion. Shares of AMD closed at $23.66 on Friday. The consensus price target is $26.02. The 52-week trading range is $9.04 to $34.14.
AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) is set to report its third-quarter results before the opening bell on Wednesday. The consensus estimates call for EPS of $0.94 and $45.6 billion in revenue. Shares were changing hands at $32.87 on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $35.48, and the stock has a 52-week range of $30.13 to $39.33.
Ford Motor Co. (NYSE: F) is scheduled to reveal its third-quarter results late Wednesday. The consensus EPS estimate is $0.29, along with $33.52 billion in revenue. Shares ended the past week at $8.50. The consensus price target is $10.17. The stock has a 52-week trading range of $8.19 to $13.48.
General Electric Co. (NYSE: GE) will report its third-quarter results on Thursday. The consensus estimates call for EPS of $0.20 and $29.92 billion in revenue. Shares were last seen changing hands at $12.56. The consensus price target is $15.75, and the stock has a 52-week range of $11.21 to $23.84.
Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOGL) is expected to report its most recent quarterly results Thursday afternoon. The consensus analyst estimates call for $10.41 in EPS and revenue of $34.04 billion. Shares of Alphabet closed at $1,096.46 on Friday. The consensus price target is $1,354.00. The 52-week trading range is $960.52 to $1,273.89.
Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) will report its third-quarter results after the closing bell on Thursday. The consensus estimates call for EPS of $3.12 and $57.08 billion in revenue. Shares were changing hands at $1,764.03 on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $2,164.21, and the stock has a 52-week range of $962.50 to $2,050.50.
Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc. (NYSE: CMG) is scheduled to reveal its third-quarter results late Thursday as well. The consensus EPS estimate is $2.02, along with $1.24 billion in revenue. Shares ended the week at $428.54. The consensus price target is $466.50. The stock has traded in a 52-week range of $247.52 to $530.68.
Snap Inc. (NYSE: SNAP) will share its third-quarter results on Thursday. The consensus estimates call for a net loss of $0.14 per share and $283.52 million in revenue. The stock was last seen at $6.81 a share. The consensus price target is $10.63, and the 52-week trading range is $6.46 to $21.22.
And Twitter Inc. (NYSE: TWTR) is expected to post its most recent quarterly results on Thursday The consensus forecast calls for $0.14 in EPS and revenue of $701.57 million. Shares of Twitter closed at $28.83 on Friday. The consensus price target is $33.24. The 52-week trading range is $17.03 to $47.79.
