Apple, McDonald's, Pfizer and More Dow Stocks Reporting This Week

Five of the 30 Dow Jones industrial average components are scheduled to report their latest quarterly reports this week, with most coming out on Tuesday. The Dow is closing in on its all-time high, just as we are in the heart of this earnings season, and some investors may be looking to up the ante if this pattern keeps up.

24/7 Wall St. has put together a preview of those Dow companies scheduled to report their quarterly results this week. We have included the consensus earnings estimates, as well as the stock price and trading history.

Also note that other prominent quarterly reports are expected this week from Alphabet, General Electric, General Motors and others.

Be advised that the earnings and revenue estimates may change ahead of the formal reports, and some companies may change reporting dates as well.

McDonald’s Corp. (NYSE: MCD), which has one of the best-paid chief executive officers, will share its latest quarterly earnings early on Tuesday. The consensus estimates call for $1.76 in earnings per share (EPS) and $4.93 billion in revenue. Shares were trading late last week at $197.80, in a 52-week range of $153.13 to $198.26. The consensus analyst target is $200.62.

Pfizer Inc. (NYSE: PFE) is scheduled to post its quarterly report first thing Tuesday. This pharma giant is the most shorted of the Dow components. The consensus estimates are $0.75 in EPS on $12.99 billion in revenue. Shares were trading at $39.97 on Friday’s close. The stock has a 52-week range of $34.37 to $46.47, and the consensus price target is $44.00.

Merck & Co. Inc. (NYSE: MRK), which has been a big buyer of its own shares, also will report its latest quarterly earnings before Tuesday’s opening bell. The consensus estimates call for $1.05 in EPS and $10.48 billion in revenue. Shares were last seen trading at $76.63, in a 52-week range of $56.26 to $83.85. The consensus analyst target is $87.36.

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) is expected to report its most recent quarterly results late on Tuesday. The consensus analyst estimates are $2.36 in EPS and revenue of $57.44 billion. Shares of Apple, which is another of the most shorted Dow stocks, closed at $204.30 most recently. The consensus price target is $199.77, and the 52-week trading range is $142.00 to $233.47.

On Thursday, Dow Inc. (NYSE: DOW) will report its first-quarter results. The analysts’ consensus forecast is EPS of $0.91 on $10.67 billion in revenue. Shares were changing hands at $55.25 on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $63.74, and the stock has a 52-week range of $48.00 to $60.52.
