The latest earnings reporting season largely has wound down, but a few major companies have yet to share their off-season results. With summer in full swing, many investors and traders are taking vacations and markets tend to slow down. Although, with concerns over trade wars, who knows what could happen. Still, 24/7 Wall St. has put together a preview of the most prominent earnings reports expected this week.
We have included the consensus earnings estimates, as well as the stock price and trading history. Be advised that the earnings and revenue estimates may change ahead of the formal reports, and some companies may change reporting dates as well.
Adobe Inc.’s (NASDAQ: ADBE) fiscal second-quarter report is due late on Tuesday. The consensus estimates call for $1.78 in earnings per share (EPS) and $2.7 billion in revenue. Shares have traded above $275 for most of the past week. The consensus price target is $296.81, and the 52-week range trading range is $204.95 to $291.71.
Barnes & Noble Inc. (NYSE: BKS) is scheduled to report its fiscal fourth-quarter results early on Wednesday. The consensus estimates call for a net loss of $0.22 per share and revenue of $764.87 million. Shares pulled back on Friday and were changing hands below $6.80 apiece. The consensus price target is $6.50, and the 52-week trading range is $4.11 to $7.81.
Watch for Oracle Corp. (NYSE: ORCL) to release its most recent quarterly results after Wednesday’s closing bell. The consensus forecast calls for $1.07 in EPS and $10.95 billion in revenue for the fiscal fourth quarter. Shares faced resistance at $54 late in the week. The consensus price target is $53.41, and the share price has ranged from $42.40 to $55.53 in the past 52 weeks.
Kroger Co. (NYSE: KR) is scheduled to report its fiscal first-quarter Thursday morning. The consensus estimates call for $0.72 in EPS and revenue of $37.21 billion. Shares were still changing hands above $24 on last look. The analysts’ mean price target is $28.09, and the 52-week trading range is $22.44 to $32.74.
Darden Restaurants, Inc. (NYSE: DRI) fiscal fourth-quarter report is due early on Thursday as well. The consensus estimates call for $1.72 in earnings per share (EPS) and $2.24 billion in revenue. Shares traded on Friday near $120. The consensus price target is $128.14, and the 52-week range trading range is $91.34 to $125.33.
Look for CarMax, Inc. (NYSE: KMX) to share its most recent quarterly results before Friday’s open. The consensus forecast calls for $1.47 in EPS and $83.22 billion in revenue for the fiscal first quarter. Shares traded near a year-to-date high of shy of $84 on Friday. The consensus price target is $83.38, and shares have traded between $55.24 and $83.81 in the past 52 weeks.
