Seven of the 30 Dow Jones industrial average components are scheduled to report their latest quarterly reports this week. The Dow is just off its all-time high, while earnings season is getting into full swing, and some investors may be looking to up the ante if this pattern keeps up.
24/7 Wall St. has put together a preview of those Dow companies scheduled to report their quarterly results this week. We have included the consensus earnings estimates, as well as the stock price and trading history.
Pfizer Inc. (NYSE: PFE) is scheduled to post its quarterly report first thing Tuesday. The consensus estimates are $0.75 in earnings per share (EPS) on $13.4 billion in revenue. Shares were trading at $43.09 on Friday’s close. The stock has a 52-week range of $38.14 to $46.47, and the consensus price target is $45.75.
Merck & Co. Inc. (NYSE: MRK) will also report its latest quarterly earnings before Tuesday’s opening bell. The consensus estimates call for $1.16 in EPS and $10.96 billion in revenue. Shares were last seen trading at $81.43, in a 52-week range of $63.53 to $87.07. The consensus analyst target is $92.14.
Procter & Gamble Co. (NYSE: PG) will report its latest quarterly earnings before Tuesday’s open as well. The consensus forecast is $1.05 in EPS and $16.86 billion in revenue. Shares ended last week at $114.73, in a 52-week range of $78.49 to $116.52. The consensus analyst target is $109.85.
Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) is expected to report its most recent quarterly results late on Tuesday. The consensus analyst estimates are $2.10 in EPS and revenue of $53.4 billion. Shares of Apple closed at $207.74 most recently. The consensus price target is $213.53, and the 52-week trading range is $142.00 to $233.47.
Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE: VZ) is expected to report its most recent quarterly results Thursday morning. The consensus analyst estimates are $1.20 in EPS and revenue of $32.41 billion. Shares of Verizon closed at $57.08 most recently. The consensus price target is $59.36, and the 52-week trading range is $51.43 to $61.58.
Early Friday, Chevron Corp.’s (NYSE: CVX) second-quarter results are due. The consensus estimates are $1.82 in EPS and $40.55 billion in revenue. Shares were last seen trading at $123.72. The consensus price target is $137.67. The 52-week trading range is $100.22 to $128.55.
And look for Exxon Mobil Corp. (NYSE: XOM) to report its most recent quarterly results on Friday too. Analysts are looking for EPS of $1.16 and $10.96 billion in revenue. The shares closed most recently at $74.81. The consensus price target is $83.92, and the 52-week range is $64.65 to $87.37.
