VirTa Inc. (NASDAQ: VTSI) shares jumped on Thursday after the firm announced that it has received a $1.1 million order for equipment and services from the U.S. Secret Service. This new order with the Secret Service expands upon the various products and services that VirTra originally delivered as part of its initial contract in 2016. The stock traded up about 23% to $2.61 a share, in a 52-week range of $2.00 to $5.94.
Nutanix Inc. (NASDAQ: NTNX) saw a sizable gain after the company reported its most recent quarterly results. The company posted a net loss of $0.57 per share on $300 million in revenue, which compares with consensus estimates calling for a net loss of $0.64 per share and $293 million in revenue. The shares were trading up about 29% at $25.36, in a 52-week range of $17.74 to $63.38.
Appliance Recycling Centers of America Inc. (NASDAQ: ARCI) shares rose in reaction to the firm’s most recent business update. The firm said that it is experiencing significant increases in business in its recycling exchange program. The higher volume of orders comes from facilities in multiple regions in which the company operates its recycling centers. The company is expecting one of its best fiscal years in recycling. The increase in orders is expected to boost sales at its recycling division and the company on a consolidated basis. The shares traded up 20% at $7.43, in a 52-week range of $1.80 to $9.56.
When Guess’ Inc. (NYSE: GES) reported its most recent quarterly results after the markets closed on Wednesday, the firm posted $0.38 in earnings per share (EPS) and $683.2 million in revenue. That compared with consensus estimates of $0.29 in EPS and $673.1 million in revenue. Guess traded up about 24.5% at $18.73, in a 52-week range of $13.34 to $26.95.
Micro Focus International PLC (NYSE: MFGP) shares tumbled on Thursday after the firm announced that it will miss its full-year revenue target and accelerate a review of its operations. The company blamed weak sales execution and a deteriorating economic environment. Its shares traded down about 31.5% at $12.95, in a 52-week range of $12.82 to $27.32.
Diversicare Healthcare Services Inc. (NASDAQ: DVCR) shares dropped after the firm said that it had been denied an appeal by the Nasdaq Hearings Panel regarding its delisting from the Nasdaq. The Nasdaq has filed with the SEC to effect the removal of Diversicare’s securities from listing and registration on the Nasdaq Capital Market. Shares of Diversicare Healthcare were trading down over 21% at $1.34, in a 52-week range of $1.16 to $6.85.
Ollie’s Bargain Outlet Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: OLLI) released its most recent quarterly results before the markets opened on Thursday. The firm reported $0.35 in EPS and $334 million in revenue. That compares with consensus estimates of $0.46 in EPS and $340 million in revenue. Shares traded down about 25% to $58.55. The 52-week range is $54.27 to $103.03.
