Now that the third-quarter earnings reporting season is just kicking off, many major companies will be sharing their results in the coming weeks. Here, 24/7 Wall St. has put together a preview of the most prominent of the many earnings reports that are expected this week.
We have included the consensus earnings estimates, as well as the stock price and trading history. Be advised that the earnings and revenue estimates may change ahead of the formal reports, and some companies may change reporting dates as well.

United Airlines Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: UAL) is scheduled to report its third-quarter results late Tuesday. The consensus estimates call for $3.95 in earnings per share (EPS) and revenue of $11.41 billion. Shares were changing hands at $87.15 on last look. The analysts’ mean price target is $110.24, and the 52-week trading range is $77.02 to $97.85.
Watch for Netflix Inc. (NASDAQ: NFLX) to release its most recent quarterly results after Wednesday’s close. The consensus forecast calls for $1.04 in EPS and $5.25 billion in revenue for the third quarter. Shares ended the week at $282.93. The consensus price target is $370.95, and the share price has ranged from $231.23 to $385.99 in the past 52 weeks.
Philip Morris International Inc. (NYSE: PM) is scheduled to report its third-quarter results early on Thursday. The consensus estimates call for $1.36 in EPS and revenue of $7.67 billion. Shares were last trading at $77.95 apiece. The consensus price target is $95.12, and the 52-week trading range is $64.67 to $92.74.
Honeywell International Inc.’s (NYSE: HON) third-quarter report is set to release Thursday morning as well. The consensus estimates call for $2.01 in EPS and $9.11 billion in revenue. Shares closed at $163.53 on Friday. The consensus price target is $182.75, and the 52-week range trading range is $123.48 to $178.47.
PayPal Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: PYPL) is scheduled to report its third-quarter results on Thursday after the closing bell. The consensus estimates call for $0.68 in EPS and revenue of $4.35 billion. Shares were last trading at $101.58 apiece. The consensus price target is $126.38, and the 52-week trading range is $75.47 to $121.48.
And look for Schlumberger Ltd. (NYSE: SLB) to share its most recent quarterly results before Friday’s open. The consensus forecast calls for $0.40 in EPS and $8.51 billion in revenue for the third quarter. Shares traded at $32.48 most recently. The consensus price target is $45.95, and shares have changed hands between $30.65 and $61.19 in the past 52 weeks.
