Boeing, Caterpillar, Intel, McDonald's, Microsoft and More Dow Earnings Coming This Week

Twelve of the 30 Dow Jones industrial average components are scheduled to report their latest quarterly reports this week. The Dow is within 2% of its all-time high, just as the new earnings season ramps up, and some investors may be looking to raise the ante if this pattern continues.
24/7 Wall St. has put together a preview of those Dow companies scheduled to report their quarterly results this week. We have included the consensus earnings estimates, as well as the stock price and trading history.
Be advised that the earnings and revenue estimates may change ahead of the formal reports, and some companies may change reporting dates as well.
Procter & Gamble Co. (NYSE: PG) will report its latest quarterly earnings before Tuesday’s open. The consensus forecast is $1.24 in earnings per share (EPS) and $17.43 billion in revenue. Shares ended last week at $117.47, in a 52-week range of $84.86 to $125.36. The consensus analyst target is $124.00.
United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX) is scheduled to post its quarterly report first thing Tuesday. The consensus estimates are $2.03 in EPS on $19.3 billion in revenue. Shares were trading at $136.80 as the week ended. The stock has a 52-week range of $100.48 to $144.40, and the consensus price target is $155.47.
Travelers Companies Inc. (NYSE: TRV) also will report its latest quarterly earnings before Tuesday’s opening bell. The consensus estimates call for $2.35 in EPS and $7.37 billion in revenue. Shares closed at $141.36, in a 52-week range of $111.08 to $155.09. The consensus analyst target is $148.38.
McDonald’s Corp. (NYSE: MCD) is expected to report its most recent quarterly results Tuesday morning. The consensus analyst estimates are $2.21 in EPS and revenue of $5.49 billion. Shares of McDonald’s traded at $208.50 most recently. The consensus price target is $232.44, and the 52-week trading range is $166.19 to $221.93.
On Wednesday, Boeing Co. (NYSE: BA) will report its second-quarter results before the opening bell. The analysts’ consensus forecast is EPS of $2.12 on $19.57 billion in revenue. Shares were most recently changing hands at $344.00. The consensus price target is $441.86, and the stock has a 52-week range of $292.47 to $446.01.
Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE: CAT) also is set to report its most recent quarterly results first thing Wednesday morning. Analysts are looking for $2.89 in EPS and $13.49 billion in revenue. Shares closed at $130.71, with a consensus price target of $139.57 and in a 52-week trading range of $111.75 to $144.77.
Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ: MSFT) is expected to report its most recent quarterly results on Wednesday after the close. The consensus estimates are $1.24 in EPS and revenue of $32.23 billion. Shares of Microsoft were at $137.41 on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $156.77, and the 52-week trading range is $93.96 to $142.37.
Dow Inc. (NYSE: DOW) will share its latest quarterly earnings early on Thursday. The consensus estimates call for $0.74 in EPS and $10.77 billion in revenue. Shares closed at $47.96, in a 52-week range of $40.44 to $60.52. The consensus analyst target is $54.04.
3M Co. (NYSE: MMM) is set to report its most recent quarterly results before Thursday’s open. Analysts are looking for $2.49 in EPS and $8.16 billion in revenue. Shares closed trading at $163.10, with a consensus price target of $172.00 and a 52-week trading range of $150.58 to $219.75.
Intel Corp. (NASDAQ: INTC) is scheduled to report its third-quarter results late Thursday. The analysts’ consensus forecast is EPS of $1.24 on $18.05 billion in revenue. Shares ended the week at $51.36. The consensus price target is $53.13, and the stock has a 52-week range of $42.36 to $59.59.
Visa Inc. (NYSE: V) will share its latest quarterly earnings on Thursday afternoon. The consensus estimates call for $1.25 in EPS and $5.41 billion in revenue. Shares ended last week at $175.71, in a 52-week range of $121.60 to $187.05. The consensus analyst target is $201.11.
Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE: VZ) is expected to report its most recent quarterly results on Friday morning. The consensus analyst estimates are $1.24 in EPS and revenue of $32.7 billion. Shares of Verizon traded at $61.05 on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $60.96, and the 52-week trading range is $52.28 to $61.58.
