Half the Dow Reports This Week: Apple, Exxon, Pfizer and More

Nearly half of the 30 Dow Jones industrial average components are scheduled to post their latest quarterly reports this week — 14 in total. The Dow is just off its all-time high, and earnings season is well underway, but it’s yet to be seen if the Dow can keep hitting new highs. There’s no question that this week will be a huge deciding factor in where the Dow goes from here.
24/7 Wall St. has put together a preview of those Dow companies scheduled to report their quarterly results this week. We have included the consensus earnings estimates, as well as the stock price and trading history.

Pfizer Inc. (NYSE: PFE) will share its latest quarterly earnings on Tuesday morning. The consensus estimates call for $0.57 in earnings per share (EPS) and $12.61 billion in revenue. Shares ended last week at $39.82, in a 52-week range of $33.97 to $44.56. The consensus analyst target is $42.33.
3M Co. (NYSE: MMM) is set to report its most recent quarterly results before Tuesday’s open as well. Analysts are looking for $2.10 in EPS and $8.12 billion in revenue. Shares closed trading at $178.15 and have a consensus price target of $172.75 and a 52-week trading range of $150.58 to $219.75.
United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX) also is scheduled to post its quarterly report first thing Tuesday. The consensus estimates are $1.84 in EPS on $19.38 billion in revenue. Shares were trading at $153.19 as the week ended. The stock has a 52-week range of $113.77 to $155.53, and the consensus price target is $166.13.
Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) will report its latest quarterly earnings after Tuesday’s closing bell. The consensus forecast is $4.54 in EPS and $88.43 billion in revenue. Shares ended last week at $318.31, in a 52-week range of $153.66 to $322.63. The consensus analyst target is $291.65.
On Wednesday, Boeing Co. (NYSE: BA) will report its fourth-quarter results before the opening bell. The analysts’ consensus forecast is EPS of $1.47 on $21.67 billion in revenue. Shares were most recently changing hands at $323.05. The consensus price target is $339.85, and the stock has a 52-week range of $302.72 to $446.01.
McDonald’s Corp. (NYSE: MCD) is expected to report its most recent quarterly results Wednesday morning. The consensus analyst estimates are $1.96 in EPS and revenue of $5.3 billion. Shares of McDonald’s traded at $211.24 most recently. The consensus price target is $224.84, and the 52-week trading range is $173.41 to $221.93.
Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ: MSFT) is expected to report its most recent quarterly results on Wednesday after the close. The consensus estimates are $1.32 in EPS and revenue of $35.68 billion. Shares of Microsoft were at $165.04 on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $173.97, and the 52-week trading range is $102.17 to $168.19.
Dow Inc. (NYSE: DOW) will share its latest quarterly earnings early on Thursday. The consensus estimates call for $0.74 in EPS and $10.15 billion in revenue. Shares closed at $48.49, in a 52-week range of $40.44 to $60.52. The consensus analyst target is $56.29.
Coca-Cola Co. (NYSE: KO) also will report its latest quarterly earnings before Thursday’s opening bell. The consensus estimates call for $0.44 in EPS and $8.85 billion in revenue. Shares hit a 52-week high of $57.87 on Friday. The 52-week low is $44.42, and the consensus analyst target is $59.48.
Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE: VZ) is expected to report its most recent quarterly results on Thursday morning. The consensus analyst estimates are $1.24 in EPS and revenue of $32.7 billion. Shares of Verizon traded at $60.28 on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $61.67, and the 52-week trading range is $52.28 to $62.22.
Visa Inc. (NYSE: V) will share its latest quarterly earnings on Thursday afternoon. The consensus estimates call for $1.46 in EPS and $6.07 billion in revenue. Shares ended last week at $205.00, in a 52-week range of $133.30 to $210.13. The consensus analyst target is $218.17.
Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE: CAT) is set to report its most recent quarterly results first thing Friday morning. Analysts are looking for $2.37 in EPS and $13.41 billion in revenue. Shares closed at $140.38, with a consensus price target of $149.91 and in a 52-week trading range of $111.75 to $150.55.
Chevron Corp. (NYSE: CVX) will report its latest quarterly earnings before Friday’s opening bell. The consensus estimates call for $1.43 in EPS and $39.25 billion in revenue. Shares closed at $111.85, in a 52-week range of $110.42 to $127.34. The consensus analyst target is $136.29.
Exxon Mobil Corp. (NYSE: XOM) also is scheduled to report its fourth-quarter results Friday morning. The analysts’ consensus forecast is EPS of $0.47 on $65.18 billion in revenue. Shares ended the week at $66.32. The consensus price target is $77.76, and the stock has a 52-week range of $66.05 to $83.49.
