Amazon.com New Kindle Already Selling Out (AMZN)

Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) may face many hurdles in the world of eReaders versus iPads and other tablets.  You never know how many it was braced to sell and they won’t tell you how many they have under current order, but if you go to the Amazon.com site some of the new Kindle models are sold out.

The $139.00 Kindle 6″ with Wi-Fi only is sold out.  The site says:
Temporarily Sold Out. Order now to reserve your place in line
Due to strong customer demand, Kindle is temporarily sold out. Order now to reserve your place in line. Orders are prioritized on a first come, first served basis. Orders placed today are expected to ship on or before September 4th.

Steve Jobs may still be the best seller of these devices in the world.  He’s not the only measure of success.  Jeff Bezos seems to be doing pretty well with his sales too.

Amazon.com shares are up 1.9% at $120.16 in a broad market rally this Monday afternoon.
