Either Americans can’t buy too many new TVs or retailers have too many in stock and need to clear the out. Whatever the reason, we saw a ton of offers for TVs during the holiday shopping season and we’re seeing more now that the season is behind us.
Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) is joining the fray, promoting sharp price reductions on new big-screen TVs. Some of the deals last throughout January, and some have more limited life spans.
The mammoth online retailer is offering a Hisense 50-inch 4K Smart LED TV (50H7GB2) for $548, a saving of 16% from the regular price of $649.99. The offer is good until January 10th.
Until January 6th Amazon is selling a Proscan 19-inch 720p LED TV (PLED1960A) TV for $109.99, a savings of 35% from the list price of $169.99.
An LG 60-inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV (60UF7700) with a list price of $2,499.99 is on sale for $1,397.99, a savings of 44% until January 17th. Also available until that date is a Samsung 60-inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV (UN60JS7000) for $1,697.99, a savings of 19% from the regular price of $2,099.99.
Want to shop around for a while? Here’s a deal that ends February 1st. A Sceptre 50-inch 1080p LED HDTV (E505BV-FMQK) is on sale for $369.99, a savings of 38% from the regular price of $599.99.
All these TVs come with a stand and a remote, but you’re on your own for the HDMI cable and a wall mount.
