Famous People Who Were Boy Scouts

The organization formerly known as Boy Scouts of America will celebrate its 109th anniversary on Feb. 8, 2019. This is a time of tremendous change for the organization, as it will now allow female members in all five of its scouting programs: Cub Scouting, Venturing, Sea Scouting, Exploring, and now the Scouts BSA Program. The organization will now be known as Scouts BSA.

Scouts BSA will continue to adhere to its mission of helping to “prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes” by instilling them with key values from an early age.

These values, such as being loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, and kind have helped generations of young Americans become successful adults. Many political leaders, businessmen, celebrities, and scientists were scouts in their early years.

24/7 Wall St. reviewed media sources, including the Boy Scouts of America’s publication Scouting Magazine, to determine some of the most famous people who were Boy Scouts.

These are 50 famous people who were Boy Scouts.

Credit Card Companies Are Doing Something Nuts

Credit card companies are at war. The biggest issuers are handing out free rewards and benefits to win the best customers.

It’s possible to find cards paying unlimited 1.5%, 2%, and even more today. That’s free money for qualified borrowers, and the type of thing that would be crazy to pass up. Those rewards can add up to thousands of dollars every year in free money, and include other benefits as well.

We’ve assembled some of the best credit cards for users today.  Don’t miss these offers because they won’t be this good forever.

Flywheel Publishing has partnered with CardRatings for our coverage of credit card products. Flywheel Publishing and CardRatings may receive a commission from card issuers.
