Short interest in 3D Systems Corp. (NYSE: DDD) rose by 3.2% to 27.22 million shares. Some 25.7% of the company’s float was short. Days to cover remained unchanged at eight. In the short interest period, the share price rose nearly 20%. The stock’s 52-week trading range is $6.00 to $19.76, and shares closed at $16.10 on Wednesday, up 1.9% on the day.
Stratasys Ltd. (NASDAQ: SSYS) saw short interest rise by 0.7% in the first weeks of August to about 6.09 million shares, or 12.6% of the company’s float. Days to cover remained unchanged at five. The share price rose by more than 4% in the two-week period, and the stock closed at $23.17 on Wednesday, up about 2.8% on the day. The 52-week range is $14.48 to $32.52.
Short interest in The ExOne Co. (NASDAQ: XONE) rose by 3.6% to 1.82 million shares. About 19.4% of the company’s shares were short. The share price rose about 31% in the two weeks. The stock’s 52-week range is $6.50 to $14.75, and shares closed at $14.11 on Wednesday, up 1% for the day. Days to cover fell from 27 to nine.
Short interest in Voxeljet A.G. (NYSE: VJET) decreased by 2.1% to 538,293 American depositary shares (ADSs), with days to cover falling from 93 to five. The share price rose by about 1.4% in the period to August 15. The ADSs closed at $4.24 on Wednesday, down about 0.9% for the day, in a 52-week range of $3.50 to $6.99.
