There are now 1.5 billion logged-in users on YouTube every month, according to the video-sharing site. The announcement was made Thursday by Chief Executive Officer Susan Wojcicki during her presentation at VidCon, the online video conference held in Anaheim, California, each summer.

San Bruno, California-based YouTube said logged-in users spend an average of more than one hour a day on the site on their mobile devices. YouTube, which was founded in 2005, said it reached 1 billion monthly active users in 2013.

Wojcicki, who has been YouTube’s CEO for three years, also said the TV screen was its fastest-growing medium of consumption, saying the category was growing 90% mobile video usage and how quickly its service is gaining viewers on TVs.

YouTube said Thursday that its first 37 original series and movies have generated nearly 250 million views.

The company also said its live TV bundle, YouTube TV, will be available in more markets. The service debuted in April in markets including New York and Los Angeles, and it will soon be available in 10 more cities.

YouTube also unveiled a virtual reality technology, called VR180, that will make it easier to view content.

YouTube was purchased by Google, now Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOGL), in November 2006 for $1.65 billion.
