Sprint Loses Big

The Wall Street Journal speculated that Sprint’s (S) CEO might be under a lot of pressure to turn the phone company around.

That pressure may just have gotten worse. According to The Associated press, the federal governments $48 billion contract when to Qwest (Q), Verizon (VZ), and AT&T (T). "The contract covers voice, video and data services and technologies domestically and internationally for at least six federal agencies"

Maybe Sprint’s CEO should take the rest of the day off.
