The king of customer satisfaction surveys, JP Power, has anointed the Apple (AAPL) iPhone as the best smartphone on the market.
Apple ranks highest in overall smartphone customer satisfaction with a score of 778 on a 1,000-point scale, performing particularly well in the ease of operation, physical design and handset feature factors.
The less fortunate handsets were the RIM (RIMM) Blackberry with a score of 703, Samsung at 701, HTC at 676, Motorola (MOT) at 659, and the Palm (PALM) Treo at 644.
Since Palm is having trouble staying in business, it may not be among the lot next year.
