Cramer Goes for GOL (GOL)

On tonight’s MAD MONEY on CNBC, Cramer’s Brazilian airline pick is GOL Linhas Areas Inteligentes, or "GOL" (GOL-NYSE/ADR) for South and Central America.  This used to be the low-cost provider there in Brazil for domestic flights, but its competitor filed for bankruptcy and some were worried the relaunched company would hurt GOL.  But GOL bought the bankrupt company with planes, gates, and routes for just over $100M and is now close to a monopoly.  Cramer thinks that GOL will hike prices.  He thinks you can chase it because you might not see weakness for a long time.  This is a way to play a monopoly in Brazil.

In a call-in he did back Boeing positively (BA).  As far as buying JetBlue (JBLU), Cramer thinks that at $11+ you can see if it sells off with higher oil prices then you can buy it.

Jon C. Ogg can be reached at [email protected]; he does not own securities of the companies he covers.
