VMware Chugs Past Estimates, But No Guidance (VMW)

VMware Inc. (NYSE:VMW) posted earnings of $0.23 non-GAAP and $0.18 EPS GAAP on revenues of $358 million. First Call on last look was showing $0.17 EPS non-GAAP on $332.5 Million revenues, but the highest estimate was $352.1 million.
GAAP operating cash flows, on a trailing 12 month basis ending September 30, 2007, were $514 million compared to $230 million for the twelve months that ended September 30, 2006.
VMware did NOT offer guidance, so they are wanting to draw attention to the conference call. If VMware offers guidance, the street is at $0.19 EPS & $382.8 million for next quarter. Shares closed down 2.5% at $103.52 in normal trading today, but shares are up 6% at $110.00 in after hours trading.
