courtesy of FCA US LLC

Fiat Chrysler Automobile N.V.’s (NYSE: FCAU) Dodge division produces and sells the most powerful street car in the world. The 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon has 840 horsepower and can accelerate from 0 to 60 MPH in 2.3 seconds. Dodge now offers several extra features for $1 each.

The car is expensive by Dodge standards. The Challenger SRT Demon starts at a U.S. manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $84,995 (including $1,700 gas guzzler tax, excluding $1,095 destination). However, most cars nearly as fast cost well over $100,000, and in some cases two or three times that.

Dodge puts the performance at 840 horsepower and 770 lb.-ft. of torque.

For the extra $1, Dodge offers a front passenger seat (the car comes with only one seat, the driver’s) or a rear seat made of close or leather/ A Demon trunk carpet kit also is available for $1. At least Dodge now offers the car so that it can hold more than one person.

Like a real car, the Challenger SRT Demon even has a warranty:

Challenger SRT Demon is covered by FCA US LLC factory warranty, including three-year/36,000-mile limited vehicle warranty and five-year/60,000-mile limited powertrain coverage.

And Dodge has added several other features that allow owners to drive in some comfort:
