When people think of New York, they automatically think of New York City and nothing else, thanks to the shows and movies that take place there. While it makes sense most people automatically jump to the Big Apple, the state of New York is one of the most amazing in the union. There’s so much outdoor area to explore and hike in. Buffalo, another big city in New York, has some of the most passionate sports fans you’ll ever find.

It’s a great community to be part of. One of the things that comes along with living in New York is the snow that routinely falls throughout the state. The poor weather that can happen during the winter means locals have to have bigger cars to make sure they can get around. Knowing this, it makes sense when you see the most popular cars in the state. These are the five most common cars you’ll find in New York.

The fifth most popular car you can find in New York is the Chevrolet Silverado. This truck is known to be one of the most common cars for the working class. Because there’s so much lumber and transportation that takes place in New York State, having a truck is a necessity. The fact you can switch it to a four-wheel drive during the winter months is another reason it’s so popular amongst the locals. Unfortunately, you’re not going to get amazing gas mileage with the truck. However, those who live in New York have realized they can’t only prioritize gas mileage when considering what car to buy. The Silverado is a perfect truck for those who live in New York.

It’s common and normal to find families who reside in New York. One of the most family-friendly cars you’ll find on the market today is the Honda CR-V. Honda is known for making cars that are incredibly reliable and safe, which is why they’re so popular on the market. They also get better gas mileage than a lot of spacious cars. You can fit an entire soccer team in the back or all of the groceries for your family. You can also feel confident driving it through just about any weather condition you might be able to think of. It’s easy to take this car out to explore all that New York and the northeastern part of the United States have to offer. During the warmer summer months, you can easily access the beaches, wherever you so choose to go. In the winter, you know you’re going to have a car that can get you through almost anything Mother Nature throws your way. The Nissan Rogue is the second most popular car in New York, and it’s no surprise.

You’re never going to get the same amount of money you purchased for a car if you sell it again, but that’s not why you own one. You want a car to stay safe, make memories with, and get you around.
