Numbers make my head itch. I still count on my fingers. I have to total figures several times over to get the same result often enough to reassure me that I’m in the ballpark. And that’s when I’m using a calculator. So this shift to naming cars with numbers and letters instead of good old-fashioned names got my head to itching. While I understand the practicality of a more standardized approach to branding, the alphanumeric combinations leave me feeling meh and like I might have lice. But I’ve lost sight of my purpose – We have gathered here to discuss cars that start with the letter A, the VIP of the vowels. From awesome to amazing, A is where it all begins. A110

We kids thought it looked old-timey and were more enamored with the later-model cars our neighbors drove. What did we know? The Rambler American is a classic.
