Markets in Europe were up a fraction at 6.45 AM New York time.

The FTSE rose .1% to 6,321. Barclays was up .6% to 762.5. BP was up .1% to 549. BT was up .4% to 312. GlaxoSmithKline was down .4% to 1404. Prudential was flat at 717. Reuters was up .3% to 447.75. Unilever was down .6% to 1395. Vodafone was up 1.3% to 152.25.

The DAXX was up .1% to 6,756. Bayer was down 1% to 43.79. DaimlerChrysler was down 1.6% to 48.95. DeutscheBank was up .5% to 107.1 Detsche Telekom was down .6% to 14.4. SAP was up 1.8% to 36.54. Siemens was up 6.1% to 82.78.

The CAC 40 was up .1% to 5,643. Alcatel-Lucent was up .7% to 10.17. AXA was down .2% to 32.69. France Telecom was down .9% to 21.59. ST Micro was up 2.2% to 14.34. Vivendi was down .2% to 32.08.
