Markets in Europe were up sharply at 7.30 AM New York time.
The FTSE rose 2% to 5,523. Barclays (BCS) is up 3.4% to 406. British Airways was up 4.1% to 226.5.
The DAXX moved up 2.2% to 6,315. DeutscheBank (DB) was up 4.3% to 68.88. Siemens (SI) was up 5.4% to 70.
The CAC 40 rose 1.8% to 4,512. Alcatel-Lucent (ALU) was up 3.1% to 3.34. Credit Agricole moved up 7% to 18.06.
