We have many significant pre-market stock movers this morning, some on news and some on earnings.  We have outlines more extensive data and analysis over at VSInvestor.com here on several of these showing significant interest:

Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (NYSE: AMD) is now down over 4% after having been positive after beating earnings but giving weak guidance.

AEterna Zentaris Inc. (NASDAQ: AEZS) is down sharply on a secondary offering.

Boston Scientific Corporation (NYSE: BSX) is up over 5% on the immediate relaunch of COGNIS(R) CRT-Ds and TELIGEN(R) ICDs.

Gannett Co., Inc. (NYSE: GCI) is up after saying that earnings were $0.50 in non-GAAP EPS, double the comparable figure of $0.25 for the first quarter of 2009.  Shares are up 3% at $18.70 on 35,00 shares.

General Electric Co. (NYSE: GE) beat earnings at $0.21 EPS vs. $0.16 Thomson Reuters estimates, but on light revenues… shares were up over $20.00 in pre-market trading earlier this morning after a $19.50 close, but now shares are down 0.25% at $19.45 this morning on 3.6 million shares at 9:00 AM EST.

Google Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOG) continues to struggle after earnings beat estimates but no internal growth metrics were really seen inside the company besides its headcount (that is outside of earnings and revenues).  Shares are down 4.7% at $567.11 on 225,000 shares at 9:00 AM EST.

Intuitive Surgical Inc. (NASDAQ: ISRG) is down after earnings beat expectations; valuation is key here it seems now.  It sees 27% to 29% revenue growth this year rather than 25% growth. Earnings were $2.12 EPS vs. $1.78 EPS from Thomson Reuters and versus $0.72 EPS a year ago.  Shares closed at $388.10 yesterday and the 52-week trading range is $113.20 to $393.92.  Shares are down 2.3% at $379.00 on only about 12,000 shares.

Lions Gate Entertainment Corp. (NYSE: LGF) is up strong this morning after Carl Icahn hiked his hostile tender to $7.00 per share in an effort to win control of the movie and television production company.  Shares are up 8.9% at $6.94 on 62,00 shares.

Palm, Inc. (NASDAQ: PALM) is trading up 4% on a positive research call this morning on the chances of a buyout.

Phase Forward Inc. (NASDAQ: PFWD) is up on a $17.00 buyout.

SIRIUS XM Radio Inc. (NASDAQ: SIRI) was up 2% earlier this morning but shares appear to be normalizing after 2 days of gains.  Shares are now flat at $1.11 on over 3 million shares.
