(NYSE: HIG); Jinkosolar Holding Co., Ltd. (NYSE: JKS); Rackspace Hosting Inc. (NYSE: RAX); USEC Inc. (NYSE: USU); Archer Daniels Midland Company (NYSE: ADM); Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ: CMCSA); First Solar Inc. (NASDAQ: FSLR); Las Vegas Sands Corporation (NYSE: LVS); Mastercard Inc. (NYSE: MA); OpenTable Inc. (NASDAQ: OPEN); Pfizer Inc. (NYSE: PFE); Sirius XM Radio Inc. (NASDAQ: SIRI); and Youku.com Inc. (NASDAQ: YOKU).
This is actually just the first list and only the reports due early in the week on Monday and Tuesday. The full detailed previews are below…
Chesapeake Energy Corporation (NYSE: CHK) is due to report earnings on Monday and will set the tone for how natural gas properties get treated. Thomson Reuters has estimates of $0.70 EPS and $2.68 billion in revenues; next quarter estimates are $0.71 EPS and $2.66 billion in revenues. Shares are trading around $33.20 and the 52-week trading range is $19.62 to $35.95.
Chimera Investment Corporation (NYSE: CIM) is not a market mover nor a sector mover, but this real estate investment trust is a vulture bond investing fund and it has one of the highest dividends in Wall Street at about 14%. Shares are trading around $4.03 and its 52-week range $3.50 to $4.36.
Dendreon Corporation (NASDAQ: DNDN) is due Monday and this is still a story around guidance for late-2011 and into 2012 than it is an earnings story. Provenge sales are just getting going and Thomson Reuters has estimates of -$0.70 EPS and $28.86 million in revenues; next quarter estimates are -$0.69 EPS and $58.3 million in revenues. The 2011 estimates are -$2.24 EPS and $369.7 million in revenues, but the 2012 estimates are $0.30 EPS and about $860.5 million in revenues. Jinkosolar Holding Co., Ltd. (NYSE: JKS) is also due Monday and we have not seen much from solar earnings yet. This one is also up from the Total-SunPower majority stake deal and it was one we gave a Vale Stock Alert in earlier this month when shares were around $26.50 or so. Thomson Reuters has estimates of $1.50 EPS and $289.78 million in revenues; next quarter estimates are $1.81 EPS and $346.29 million in revenues. Shares are trading around $26.85 and the 52-week range is $8.23 to $41.75.
Rackspace Hosting Inc. (NYSE: RAX) is due Monday and we’ll get one more cloud related earnings story and it held up fine during the Akamai blowup this week. Thomson Reuters has estimates of $0.12 EPS and $226.41 million in revenues; next quarter estimates are $0.13 EPS and $238.8 million in revenues. Shares are trading around $46.23 and the 52-week range is $15.15 to $46.28.
USEC Inc. (NYSE: USU) is another one that is not a market mover. It is, however a nuclear mover and this uranium enrichment outfit may offer more insight into what the REAl impact on nuclear power will be for the next two years or so after the Japan incident. Thomson Reuters has estimates of -$0.12 EPS and $403.4 million in revenues; next quarter estimates are -$0.07 EPS and $399.5 million in revenues. Shares are trading around $4.45 and the 52-week range is $3.90 to $6.35.
Archer Daniels Midland Company (NYSE: ADM) is due to report Tuesday morning and this ag-giant will be closely watched. At $36.70, its 52-week range is $24.22 to $38.02. Thomson Reuters has estimates of $0.86 EPS and $17.69 billion in revenues; next quarter estimates are $0.89 EPS and $18.12 billion in revenues.
Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ: CMCSA) is due this coming Tuesday. Thomson Reuters has estimates of $0.34 EPS and $12.99 billion in revenues; next quarter estimates are $0.40 EPS and $13.8 billion in revenues. Shares are trading around $26.15 and the 52-week range is $16.30 to $26.23 (that 52-week high was hit Friday).
First Solar Inc. (NASDAQ: FSLR) will matter to the solar sector because it is the largest of the solar stocks. Thomson Reuters has estimates of $1.17 EPS and $543.05 million in revenues; next quarter estimates are $2.01 EPS and $802.75 million in revenues. For 2011. its estimates are $9.52 EPS and $3.78 billion in revenues. Shares are trading around $140.00 and the 52-week range is $100.19 to $175.45.
Las Vegas Sands Corporation (NYSE: LVS) is due on Tuesday as well. Thomson Reuters has estimates of $0.44 EPS and $2.14 billion in revenues; next quarter estimates are $0.44 EPS and $2.15 billion in revenues. Shares are trading around $46.70 and the 52-week trading range is $18.08 to $55.47.
Mastercard Inc. (NYSE: MA) may finally be able to give us a bit more clarity on all these interchange fees which are under fire now. Thomson Reuters has estimates of $4.08 EPS and $1.46 billion in revenues; next quarter estimates are $4.15 EPS and $1.52 billion in revenues. Shares are trading around $275 and the 52-week range is $191.00 to $278.10.
OpenTable Inc. (NASDAQ: OPEN) is another non-mover when it comes to a market impact, but this is a high-flying stock that could be very volatile after earnings. Thomson Reuters has estimates of $0.23 EPS and $33.46 million in revenues; next quarter estimates are $0.26 EPS and $35.43 million in revenues. Shares are trading around $110 and the 52-week range is $36.88 to $118.66. With a 100+ P/E ratio today and trading at 67.5-times 2012 expected earnings and 13.7-times 2012 expected revenues AND with a massive stock gain, there is probably no way that a “Meet estimates and reaffirm guidance” is all that shareholders are demanding.
Pfizer Inc. (NYSE: PFE) is joining in with the drug and pharma earnings cycle. Thomson Reuters has estimates of $0.59 EPS and $16.65 billion in revenues; next quarter estimates are $0.59 EPS and $17.07 billion in revenues. Shares are trading around $20.92 and the 52-week range is $14.00 to $20.95 (52-week high hit Friday).
Sirius XM Radio Inc. (NASDAQ: SIRI) is due with earnings Tuesday morning and now that $2.00 has been hit with a continually growing amount of short selling, earnings matter and 2011 subscriber growth guidance matters. Thomson Reuters has estimates of $0.01 EPS and $736.28 million in revenues; next quarter estimates are $0.01 EPS and $753.39 million in revenues. Shares are trading around $1.98 and the 52-week trading range is $0.86 to $2.00.
Youku.com Inc. (NASDAQ: YOKU) is about to have its first full quarter of earnings reported as a public company. Thomson Reuters has estimates for this Chinese internet video website that some consider as “The YouTube of China” at -$0.08 EPS and $16.78 million in revenues; next quarter estimates are -$0.07 EPS and $22.93 million in revenues. Shares are trading around $60.00 and the post-IPO range has been $25.57 to $69.95.
