Even with a scorecard it might be impossible to keep up with the suits and counter-suits in the patent infringement fight being waged in German courts between Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) and Samsung Electronics (OTC: SSNLF). In the latest round, the court rejected a Samsung claim against Apple, leaving two additional claims by Samsung for later adjudication.

In early December, Samsung won a round when a German court rejected Apple’s demand that Samsung be restrained from selling its Galaxy Tab 10.1 because it copied Apple’s design for the iPad.

Reuters reports that there are a total of 13 claims and counter-claims at issue between Apple and Samsung in Germany.
