Conns Inc. (NASDAQ: CONN) dropped about 25.8% on Thursday to post a new 52-week low of $8.69 against a 52-week high of $43.95. The stock closed at $11.71 on Wednesday night. Volume was about 7 times the stock’s daily average volume of around 740,000 shares. The specialty retailer reported dismal results Thursday morning.

DeVry Education Group Inc. (NYSE: DV) dropped by about 15.6% on Thursday to post a new 52-week low at $15.36 after closing at $18.20 on Wednesday. The stock’s 52-week high is $34.18. Daily volume totaled about 30% below the average of around 1.3 million shares. The for-profit education company named a new CFO yesterday, the second in less than two weeks, and the stock was downgraded by Credit Suisse.
Daktronics Inc. (NASDAQ: DAKT) fell 3.9% on Thursday to post a new 52-week low of $6.16 against a high of $12.35. The stock closed at $6.41 on Wednesday night. Volume was more than 7 times the stock’s daily average of around 210,000. The maker of electronic display systems reported an unexpected Q4 loss Wednesday morning and the selling continued Thursday.
