We are in the heart of earnings season, in which most major companies will report and set a direction for the market. Here we have included the consensus earnings estimates from Thomson Reuters and the stock price and trading history, as well as added some additional color on each.

Be advised that the earnings and revenue estimates may change ahead of the formal reports, and some companies may change reporting dates as well.

Gilead Sciences Inc. (NASDAQ: GILD) is scheduled to reveal its second-quarter results on Monday. The consensus estimates call for earnings per share (EPS) of $3.02 and $7.79 billion in revenue. Shares traded at $86.55 at the close on Friday, in a 52-week trading range of $77.92 to $120.37. The stock has a consensus analyst price target of $110.37.

BP PLC (NYSE: BP) will share its most recent quarterly results on Tuesday. The consensus estimates call for $0.24 in EPS, as well as $50.22 billion in revenue. Shares were trading at $35.87 on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $37.46. The stock has a 52-week range of $27.01 to $38.06.

Twitter Inc. (NYSE: TWTR) is set to report its second-quarter results on Tuesday. The analysts’ consensus estimates call for EPS of $0.10 and $606.77 million in revenue. Shares were changing hands at $18.37 on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $18.40, and the 52-week range is $13.73 to $36.67.

Amgen Inc. (NASDAQ: AMGN) is expected to share its latest quarterly earnings on Wednesday. The consensus estimates call for $2.74 in EPS and $5.58 billion in revenue. Shares ended last week at $165.67, in a 52-week range of $130.09 to $181.81. The consensus price target is $183.33.

Facebook Inc. (NASDAQ: FB) is on tap to report its second-quarter results on Wednesday. The analysts’ consensus estimates are EPS of $0.81 and $6.01 billion in revenue. Shares of were changing hands at $121.00 as last week came to a close. The consensus price target is $144.17, and the 52-week range is $72.00 to $122.20.

Whole Foods Market Inc. (NASDAQ: WFM) is scheduled to reveal its fiscal third-quarter results on Wednesday. Thomson Reuters only listed one analyst estimate, for $3.73 billion in revenue. Shares were trading at $33.72 on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $30.24, and the 52-week range is $28.07 to $41.75.

Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOGL) is set to share its latest quarterly earnings on Thursday. The consensus estimates are $8.04 in EPS on $20.75 billion in revenue. Shares were at $759.28 on Friday’s close, in a 52-week range of $593.09 to $810.35. The consensus price target is $910.90.

Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) is scheduled to reveal its second-quarter results on Thursday as well. The consensus estimates call for EPS of $1.11 and $29.56 billion in revenue. Shares closed at $744.86 on Friday, in a 52-week range of $451.00 to $757.34. The consensus price target is $809.33.

Celgene Corp. (NASDAQ: CELG) also is expected to share its latest quarterly earnings on Thursday. The consensus estimates call for $1.39 in EPS and $2.71 billion in revenue. Shares traded at $107.52 on Friday’s close, in a 52-week range of $92.98 to $137.54. The consensus analyst target is $134.57.

AbbVie Inc. (NYSE: ABBV) is set to report its second-quarter results on Friday. The analysts’ consensus forecast calls for EPS of $1.20 and $6.2 billion in revenue. Shares were changing hands at $63.81 on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $70.00, and the stock has a 52-week range of $45.45 to $71.51.
