Infosys, Nielsen Dip into Friday’s 52-Week Low Club

November 18, 2016: Here are four stocks trading with relatively heavy volume among 46 equities making new 52-week lows in Friday’s session. On the NYSE, advancers and decliners traded about equally and on the Nasdaq advancers led decliners traded by about 7 to 6.

Infosys Ltd. (NYSE: INFY) dropped nearly 1.1% on Friday to post a new 52-week low of $13.89 against a 52-week high of $20.47. Volume of about 8.5 million was about 60% above the daily average of around 5.3 million. The company’s CEO said yesterday that the election of Donald Trump may hurt the company’s margins.

Nielsen Holdings plc (NYSE: NLSN) lost nearly 2.7% Friday to post a new 52-week low of $42.25 after closing Thursday at $43.41. The 52-week high is $55.94. Volume of around 6.7 million was nearly 3 times the daily average of around 2.6 million shares traded. The data research and information company had no specific news Friday.

Novo Nordisk A/S (NYSE: NVO) dropped about 1.5% on Friday to post a new 52-week low of $32.35 after closing at $32.84 on Thursday. The stock’s 52-week high is $59.00. Volume of about 3.4 million was close to the daily average of around 3.9 million shares. The drug maker had no specific news.

Unilever PLC (NYSE: UL) dropped about 1.4% on Friday to post a new 52-week low of $38.58 after closing at $39.11 on Thursday. The stock’s 52-week high is $48.97. Volume was more than double the daily average of around 1.5 million shares. The consumer products company had no specific news on Friday.
