The second-quarter earnings reporting season is underway and most of the companies in the S&P 500 will be reporting in this time and setting a direction for the markets. With this season also comes high expectations, as the Nasdaq and S&P 500 have risen recently to near all-time highs. This earnings season will be driven by some of the biggest companies in the United States, but they have to hit their targets first if the markets want to keep up their momentum.

24/7 Wall St. has put together a preview of some companies that are about to report their quarterly results. We have reviewed the consensus earnings estimates from Thomson Reuters, the stock price and trading history.

Be advised that the earnings and revenue estimates may change ahead of the formal reports, and some companies may change earnings dates as well.

Pandora Media Inc. (NYSE: P) will report its most recent quarterly results Tuesday afternoon. The consensus estimates for the second quarter call for a net loss of $0.16 per share and $372.78 million in revenue. Shares were last seen trading at $7.56, in a 52-week range of $4.09 to $9.65. The consensus price target is $7.86.

Fitbit Inc.’s (NYSE: FIT) second-quarter report is scheduled for Wednesday after the markets close. The consensus forecast is a net loss of $0.24 per share on $285.4 million in revenue. Shares ended the week trading at $5.75 apiece. The consensus price target is $6.10, and the 52-week trading range is $4.51 to $7.79.

Herbalife Nutrition Ltd. (NYSE: HLF) will report its most recent quarterly results Wednesday afternoon. The consensus estimates call for earnings per share (EPS) of $0.67 and $1.26 billion in revenue for the fiscal first quarter. Shares were last seen trading at $52.24, in a 52-week range of $30.35 to $56.74. The consensus price target is $61.00.

Square Inc.’s (NYSE: SQ) second-quarter report also is scheduled for Wednesday after the closing bell. The consensus forecast is $0.12 in EPS on $367.9 million in revenue. Shares ended the week at $69.85 apiece. The consensus price target is $63.21, and the 52-week range is $24.22 to $73.19.

Tesla Inc. (NASDAQ: TSLA) is expected to release its most recent quarterly results late on Wednesday as well. The consensus forecast calls for a net loss of $2.81 and $3.97 billion in revenue for the second quarter. Shares traded on Friday’s close at $297.18. The consensus price target is $295.05, and the 52-week range is $244.59 to $389.61.

Blue Apron Holdings Inc. (NYSE: APRN) will report its most recent quarterly results Thursday morning. The consensus estimates for the second quarter call for a net loss of $0.18 and $188.44 million in revenue. Shares were last seen trading at $2.76, in a 52-week range of $1.72 to $6.90. The consensus price target is $3.90.

Activision Blizzard Inc.’s (NASDAQ: ATVI) second-quarter results are expected Thursday after the markets close. The consensus forecast calls for EPS of $0.36 and $1.39 billion in revenue. Shares closed most recently at $75.36 apiece. The consensus price target is $79.85. The 52-week range is $57.29 to $81.64.

And Duke Energy Corp. (NYSE: DUK) is expected to release its most recent quarterly report early Thursday. The consensus forecast calls for EPS of $0.82 on $3.83 billion in revenue. Shares closed most recently at $81.09. The consensus price target is $83.88. Shares have changed hands between $71.96 and $91.80 in the past year.
