According to Reuters, Nintendo’s net for the last nine months rose over 43% on the strength of sales of its DS handheld device.

Reuters reports that a press piece in Nikkei say that Ricoh is buying IBM’s (IBM) digital printing business.

Reuters writes that Hyundai Motor Co posted an 8.6% drop in operating profit due to strong competition in the global auto market.

The Wall Street Journal reports that Ebay (EBAY) had a 24% increase in profit in the latest quarter and raised its 2007 estimates.

The WSJ reports that China’s economy grew 10.7% last year, the fastest rate since 1995.

The WSJ writes that NetFlix (NFLX) reported a 44% increase in revenue in 2006.

The Wall Street Journal reports that Qualcomm (QCOM) had a 5% increase in profit for the period ending December 31

The New York Times reports that results at McDonald’s (MCD) were the best in 30 years.

The FT writes that Citigroup’s (C) CFO search may focus on candidates who could eventually take over as CEO.

Barron’s writes that, as tech companies are taken off the public market by mergers and private equity, the demand for IPOs in the sector may rise sharply.
