Amazon.com (NASDAQ: AMZN) is by a number of measures the most visited retail site in the US, the most successful e-commerce company in the world, and the online retailer with the biggest selection of items. It is also famous for its constant innovation the most recent by-product of which is the Kindle e-reader, the dominant product in its market.
Now a tiny investment firm, Consensus Advisors, says that Amazon is tops in their Retailer Health Ratings, a mash-up of what the firm calls “Healthy Growth, Asset Utilization, Pricing Power, and Balance Sheet Strength.” None of these metrics is well-described. Consensus says” The report lists an overall Retailer Health Rating for each retailer and also presents relative ranks within 20 retailing categories. In addition to the 10 highest rated retailers.” That of course, says very little.
It would be just as easy to look at retailers with the top performing stocks. Most of them are on the listThe top 10 retailers in the US are: Amazon, Aeropostale, Urban Outfitters, CVS, Walmart, Bed Bath & Beyond, Coach, The Buckle, Guess and Lululemon Athletica.
Are You Still Paying With a Debit Card?
The average American spends $17,274 on debit cards a year, and it’s a HUGE mistake. First, debit cards don’t have the same fraud protections as credit cards. Once your money is gone, it’s gone. But more importantly you can actually get something back from this spending every time you swipe.
Issuers are handing out wild bonuses right now. With some you can earn up to 5% back on every purchase. That’s like getting a 5% discount on everything you buy!
Our top pick is kind of hard to imagine. Not only does it pay up to 5% back, it also includes a $200 cash back reward in the first six months, a 0% intro APR, and…. $0 annual fee. It’s quite literally free money for any one that uses a card regularly. Click here to learn more!
