Now that millions of Americans have upgraded their TVs during the holiday shopping season, Best Buy Co. Inc. (NYSE: BBY) reckons that this is a good time to push the plethora of products that will convert those new TVs into streaming video players.

The company has helpfully categorized the options available into four buckets: Ultra HD (4K) resolution, HBO, mobility and cord cutting.

If you have a 4K Ultra HD TV, Best Buy has three devices that will stream those pixels from your network to the TV. Fire TV (B00U3FPN4U) from Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) costs $99.99 and comes with a remote and free shipping. A Roku-4 streaming media player (4400R) is available for $119.99, a savings of $10 from the list price, and includes a remote and free shipping. And an NVIDIA Corp. (NASDAQ: NVDA) Shield (945125712500100) for $196.99, a $3.00 savings, includes a Shield controller and free shipping.

There are several devices that will allow you to stream HBO. The Roku-3 streaming player (4230R) sells for $89.99, a savings of $10, with free shipping, a motion-control remote and ear buds. A Nexus streaming media console (TV500I) from Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOGL) is selling from $49.99, a savings of $50.

Mobile portable devices let you take them with you to stream on a compatible TV wherever you happen to be. These include a Roku streaming stick (3500R) for $39.99, a savings of $10 and with free shipping; an Amazon Fire stick (B00ZVJAF9G) for $49.99 with a voice-controlled remote and free shipping; and a Google Chromecast (NC2-6A5) for $35.00.

And for cord cutters, a $50 savings on a Sling TV-compatible device when you prepay for three months of Sling TV. This offer is available in brick-and-mortar stores only, and here are the details from Best Buy.
