With Black Friday now over, retailers are revving up even more deals to entice consumers during what is known as Cyber Week, an extension to the relatively new focus on online shopping that’s come to be promoted as Cyber Monday. The world’s largest retailer, Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (NYSE: WMT) wants to become a big player in the online shopping universe and this is an opportunity for the company to show its stuff.
In addition to major savings on consumer electronics and other higher priced items, Wal-Mart is also reducing prices on hundreds of items that can save customers significant cash on smaller purchases.
