Amazon Readies For Cyber Money With 50% Off Some Items

As Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, and Thanksgiving Saturday and Sunday draw to a close, the online retail world has begun Cyber Monday sales. Cyber Monday is traditionally the day on which e-commerce sites get their greatest single day’s revenue. Amazon has set a number of deals to make sure it holds the huge lead it has in online retail. Some of its Cyber Monday deals cuts prices as much as 50%.

The discounts are so large in cases, they may be hard on competitors which have to match prices to gain customers. Amazon has been known to work on small margins to pick up market share.

Some examples of the Cyber Monday deals it is pushing hardest:

Adidas is the hottest athletic apparel company recently as it has take market share from Nike and Under Armour. Amazon offers 50% off some Adidas items. The best deals in terms of savings:

adidas Neo Women’s Cloudfoam Advantage W Fashion Sneaker, price reduced to $36.50 from $65.00

adidas Originals Women’s Trefoil Hoodie, price reduced to $44.99 from $70.00

adidas Originals Kids’ Pro Model J Sneaker, price reduced to $39.99 from $80.00

adidas Originals Men’s Adidas Skateboarding Blackbird Sweatpants, price reduced to $40.99 from $60.00

Amazon also has price cuts on several best selling games, some cut by a third from retail price:

Joking Hazard, reduced to $18.75 from $25.00

Bears vs Babies: A Card Game From the Creators of Exploding Kittens, reduced to $20.99 from $30.00

The sales are likely to draw customers on what may be the most competitive day for e-commerce companies as well as they day when their revenue peaks
