There is a very wide range of preferences between men and women when it comes to the cars each buys. Women tend to be interested in practical cars like sport utility vehicles and compacts that get high gas mileage. Men’s run much more toward exotic, expensive cars on the one hand and pickups on the other.
Based on a study by iSeeCars, there are 10 cars bought almost exclusively by men, and therefore almost always ignored by women.

The GMC Sierra 2500 HD is one of the pickups build by General Motors Inc. (NYSE: GM). Ford Motor Co.’s (NYSE: F) F-350 Super Duty is part of the F-Series pickups, which are the top-selling vehicles in America.
At the more expensive part of the spectrum are several sports cars with engines that put out over 500 horsepower (HP). The Cadillac CTS-V has a Super 6.2-liter V8, which puts out 640 HP. Its base price is $83,995 (well above the price of the standard CTS, which is closer to $45,000) and with extras can push to $90,000.
The rare Nissan GT-R, which is nick named Godzilla, has a base price of $101,770 (which includes nearly standard extras that put it above its base price), which can easily stretch to $150,000 for its limited edition Nismo. The base GT-R puts out 550 HP via a 3.8-liter twin turbo. The Nismo HP rating is 600. Both the Cadillac and Nissan sell only a few thousand units a year.
Porsche has two entries on the list. The iconic 911 is a base Carerra, which sells for $65,000 and puts out 370 HP. The high-end 911 Turbo S Cabriolet costs $200,400 and has an engine output of 580 HP. The Cayman is a more sedate coupe, but its price can rise to $85,000 for the GT4, which puts out 385 HP.
Also on the list is one of BMW’s oldest models. The 3 Series has been on many “best car” lists for years. The M3 is the muscular version. It bangs out 425 HP and has a base price of $63,500 (well above the base 3-Series price of $36,000).
The Bentley Continental GT is the sports car model of the ultra-luxury British sedan maker. It has a W12 twin turbo engine that puts out 582 HP.
The Lexus GS 350 is at the low end of the sports sedan sold by the luxury division of Toyota Motor Corp. (NYSE: TM). Its horse power output is a measly 241.
The final vehicle on the list, the Chevrolet Express Cargo, is a very simple work van made for people, mostly men, who work out of their trucks.
In almost all cases, a woman would not be spotted within miles of these cars and light trucks.
Methodology: iSeeCar analyzed over 54 million pre-owned car sales and 570,000 shoppers’ inquiries of cars on iSeeCars.com between January 1, 2013, and September 30, 2015. It categorized inquiries as coming from male or female consumers (based on their names) and calculated the percentage of inquiries for each car model from males and from females, across all model years available for each model. Models with fewer than 70 inquiries and that were not in production as of the 2015/2016 were excluded.
