Markets in Asia were relatively flat.

The Nikkei was down .1% to 17,409. Bridgestone was down .8% to 2645. Canon was up 1.6% to 6550. Fuji Film was down 1.1% to 4880. Hitachi was up .5% to 826. Honda was up 1% to 4820. NEC was flat at 608. NTT was up .5% to 621000. Sharp was up .5% to 2015. Softbank was up .2% to 2550. Sony was down .5% to 5880. Toshiba was down .4% to 805. Toyota was up .1% to 8000. Yahoo Japan was down 2% to 47550.

The Hang Seng was flat at 20,770. Cathay Pacific was down 2.8% to 21. China Mobile was up 2.5% to 75.7. China Netcom was down 1.7% to 18.98. China Unicom was up 1.2% to 10.44. HSBC was down .7% to 144.4  PCCW was down .2% to 4.7.

The KOSPI was flat a 1,363.

The Straits Times down .2% to 3,139.

The Shanghai Composite was up .5% to 2,949.
